Terms and Conditions

  • Payment
    • Installation Fees are due at installation, if applicable.
    • Monthly Fees are due within 15 days and are billed on the 1st of every month.
    • Accounts that are more than 15 days late may be assessed a late fee.
    • Accounts that are more than 60 days past due will be disabled until payment is made.
    • Returned Checks will result in $25 NSF fee.
    • Is not refundable.
  • Speeds
    • Are provided at best effort, Not guaranteed and will not be throttled due to usage.
  • Equipment
    • All equipment provided is property of Piedmont Broadband unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.
    • Typical provided equipment includes a UBNT ONT Fiber Adapter and a Grandstream or similar Wireless Router.
  • Repair / Service Requests
    • Clients are handled on a first come, first serve, best effort basis during our normal business hours between 9AM and 5PM Monday-Friday excluding holidays.  Service outside of these hours may be provided, but not guaranteed.
    • Widespread Outages will be handled with first priority 7 days per week unless otherwise restricted by factors outside of our control.
  • Liability
    • Piedmont Broadband is not liable for any damages and/or expenses that may result from the use of our services or equipment. this includes but is not limited to; lost revenue due to outages, lightning damage, etc.
    • Any illegal activities that take place on your connection are the customers responsibility. Piedmont may suspend your account immediately if illegal activity is reported to us and traced back to your connection.
  • Voice Services
    • Are provided by our communications partner, Hickory Computer LLC as a convenience to our customers.
    • E-911 Address information will be updated using the primary service address. Use of the service outside of that address without our knowledge may lead to incorrect 911 routing and fees. If you need to update your address, Contact us ASAP.
    • Neither Piedmont Broadband Or Hickory Computer is liable for incorrect E-911 information or any issues that arise from that.
    • Itemized billing is available upon request.
  • Cancelation
    • Either party may cancel the service at any time with 7 day’s notice.
